Hosting the President of the Jewelry Manufacturers Association of Italy
Today we had the honor of hosting the President of the Jewelry Manufacturers Association of Italy, Ms. Claudia Piaserico, for a visit intended to strengthen the business ties in the fields of diamond jewelry between Israel and Italy. The Jewelry Manufacturers Association of Italy is a professional body of over 500 members. The association liaises between Italian jewelers, goldsmiths and designers and acts to increase activity and collaborations with new markets.
During the visit, we held a meeting with the president and representatives of the Italian Trade Commission in Israel.
The meeting included a comprehensive review by Exchange CEO Mr. Eran Zini of the Israeli diamond industry’s economic activity, as well as a short video. The meeting also included a discussion of channels for collaboration and for the formation of official institutions.
The president expressed great interest in the Diamond Exchange and concluded her visit by stating that this was an excellent opportunity to learn about the industry, meet her colleagues and create future collaborations.
We are very happy that the President of the Jewelry Manufacturers Association of Italy came to the Israel Diamond Exchange to promote the diamond jewelry sector and we look forward to further productive work with the association.
