On November 5th, the Diwali celebration was held at the diamond exchange with the presence of the Indian Ambassador Mr. Pavan Kapur, CEO of the Indian Bank, Mr. Ramana, Deputy Diamond Controller Ms. Sigal Shidlovsky, and members of the Indian Community, President of the Israel Diamond Exchange Mr. Yoram Dvash, Moldawski, board members and other guests.
The Israeli diamond industry and the Indian industry have a very close relationship that spreads over decades, and today there are many Indian companies, many workers and family members who are here with us. In business, too, one can see that trade between the Israeli and Indian industries increases each year and leads to great development in industries.
The President of the ISDE Mr. Yoram Dvash welcomed the participants and summarized the event:
