Members of Diamond Exchange donated to the National Center for the Health of IDF Casualties

More than 1,000,000 NIS of the total cost for the center was donated by members of the Israel Diamond Exchange.

On June 17, 35 diamantaires took part in a festive gala event of the Association of Friends of the Sheba Medical Center, in honor of the National Center for the Health of IDF Casualties, a center whose purpose is to rehabilitate soldiers wounded during their service, soldiers who are the children of us all and are always there to protect us.

More than 1,000,000 NIS of the total cost for the center was donated by members of the Israel Diamond Exchange,  who opened their hearts and pockets for the realization of such an important goal.  Our power as a community, and not just as a business community, is revealed in moments like this.

In its 70th year, the Sheba Medical Center chose to promote the issue of the health of IDF casualties and to establish a national center for their rehabilitation. The center will meet the highest standards in the world and will include a rehabilitation pool, a sports and leisure hall, a gym, and treatment rooms. The center will be operated by a wide range of medical staff including dietitians, psychologists, occupational therapists, art and speech therapists.
