IDE Holds Festive Reception At Rough Diamond Week

IDE Rough Diamonds Committee Chairman Shai Schnitzer: "We hosted representatives of international rough mining firms who have never been here before; we created contacts and I am sure that we will soon see results."

A gala reception was held for the participants of the Third International Rough Diamond Week in Israel last week (Wednesday).

 
The event was attended by IDE President Yoram Dvash, IDE Rough Diamonds Committee Chairman Shai Schnitzer, representatives of rough mining and trading companies, members of the Israeli diamond industry and many members of the bourse.

Yoram Dvash greeted the participants and wished them success in business.

 
 
Committee Chair Shay Schnitzer said: "Tomorrow, we see the end of another successful rough diamond week with full rooms where international sales took place, as well those for regular sales and for tenders.

"The special sales project for younger members received an excellent response and we welcome that.

 
 
"We hosted representatives of international rough miners who have never been here before; we created contacts and I am sure that we will soon see results.

At the end of the speeches, Schnitzer awarded a pair of tickets for the Elton John concert in Tel Aviv to Tomer Wertheimer who won a prize draw that took place at the diamond week event.
