The agreement was signed by Yoram Dvash, Shmuel Schnitzer and CIBJO President Gaetano Cavalieri.

The Statement of Purpose for the Israel Diamond Jewelry Association was signed on the opening day of the International Diamond Week in Israel.

The statement was signed by Israel Diamond Exchange President Yoram Dvash, CIBJO President Dr. Gaetano Cavalieri and Israel Diamond Institute Chairman Shmuel Schnitzer, in the presence of Israel Diamond Exchange board member Ilan Samuel.

“Dr. Cavalieri is the person – one might say, the guiding light – who brought the jewelry industry to the center of attention in the world diamond industry. We look forward to productive cooperation with CIBJO. Together we will put Israel at the center of the world map of jewelry,” said Israel Diamond Exchange President Yoram Dvash.
