Tzoffey's 1818, the Israeli-French auction house, will hold a B2B auction of a selection of special polished diamonds during the International Diamond Week in Israel that will be held on the trading floor of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE), February 14-18, 2016.
Tzoffey's 1818 CEO Avner Sofiov said he was pleased to be offering an exclusive and impressive assortment of large polished diamonds to auction.
"The International Diamond Week is literally a brilliant opportunity to hold an auction of this character. With hundreds of foreign buyers on the trading floor, joined by many more members of our own large diamond business community, this event is an ideal platform for this auction," Sofiov said.
"This is a great addition to the wide variety of diamonds that our members will be displaying on the trading floor in a little more than two weeks from now," IDE President Yoram Dvash commented.
"Avner Sofiov can always be counted on to bring yet another choice of special diamonds that both the visiting buyers and our own diamond business community will show great interest in."
Viewing of the Tzoffeys auction pieces will take place in Tzoffey's premises, in the lobby of the Diamond Tower, just a few steps away from the eastern entrance of the Israel Diamond Exchange trading hall.
The auction includes single, top-quality diamonds in sizes from 0.25 carat to 75 carats, in a range of fancy colors, among them some 50 pink diamonds.
In addition, the company will auction an unheated, 15.76-carat, heart-shape ruby of Burmese origin, and an unheated, 12.01-carat, Royal Blue, Burmese sapphire.
There also will be many melee diamonds and colored gemstones.
