Registration For New Large Diamonds Factory Nears End

Registration ends on October 15. IDE members who are interested in registering for use of the factory are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.

IDE Industry Committee Chairman Yoram Dvash has published a notice for IDE members interested in receiving space in the planned factory for the polishing of large diamonds.

According to the notice, the plant is in the planning stages and will be built between the Maccabi building and the Harry Oppenheimer Museum. Its aim is to strengthen the Israeli diamond sector and increase the amount of manufacturing taking place in Israel.

The factory will be spread over 400 square meters, with around 15 rooms available to be rented out.

The plant will be connected to the Maccabi building via a corridor which will provide a very convenient and safe passageway.

The modern plant will be equipped with the latest technological equipment.
