Festive Event For Start Of International Diamond Week

A gala reception was held for people taking part in the 5th International Diamond Week in Israel, at the Leonardo City Tower Hotel, near the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE).

Hundreds of participants in the Summer edition of the International Diamond Week left business on the side temporarily to enjoy a relaxing night at the end of business on Monday at the Leonardo City Tower Hotel.

 

The cocktail party held poolside in a wonderful atmosphere included a buffet, beer and wine.

IDE President, Shmuel Schnitzer, greeted the participants, saying: "I wish you all a very enjoyable evening in this wonderful atmosphere. Earlier today I visited the Trading Hall and I was very happy with what I saw. People were busy. This week has helped bring a smile to peoples' faces and I hope during the next few days that we'll see even more smiles. May I wish you all a successful week of business."

Israel Diamond Exchange's (IDE) was officially opened on Monday morning.

There are delegations of buyers from around 20 countries.

 

The latest edition of the buyers week, which runs until September 3, features a delegation from the Diamond Dealers Club of New York, as it has with previous editions, but also members of the Antwerp Diamond Bourse and the Bharat Diamond Bourse in Mumbai.

 

In addition, there were more than 100 buyers from abroad who are visiting the Israel Diamond Exchange for the very first time.

 

In addition, there is a large delegation from the Turkish national diamond and jewelry organizations.
