Three Americans Win Free Flight to Int'l Diamond Week

The International Diamond Week in Israel is organized in close cooperation with the Diamond Dealers Club of New York (DDC) and the Antwerp Diamond Bourse (Beurs voor Diamanthandel). Both exchanges will be represented by dozens of their members on the IDE trading floor in February.

Three American diamond buyers will be winging their way to Israel next month courtesy of the Israel Diamond Exchange.
Abe Shaer of A. Shaer & Sons, Leser Grunfeld of Isaac Davidowitz Co., and Noach Klein, all of New York, were the winners of three flight tickets to Israel which they won in a raffle held following the Israel Diamond Week in New York in November. The IDE will pay for the diamantaires' tickets as part of their participation in the upcoming International Diamond Week in Israel in February.

"We held the raffle draw last month, just before the holidays," said Moti Fluk, who heads the organizing committee of the International Diamond Weeks. Fluk, who is also the Treasurer of the Israel Diamond Exchange, said he was pleased that the winners were all members of the Diamond Dealers Club of New York. "Over the past years, the relationship between the IDE and the DDC have become very strong and business relationship between our members are stronger than ever before!"

Congratulating the winners, IDE President Shmuel Schnitzer said that the Winter edition of the Diamond Week would be held just a few weeks before the trade show season begins in Asia. "We are ready to begin the year's cycle once again, and offer diamond buyers and dealers the opportunity to stock up after the holiday season. We look forward to welcoming our colleagues from Belgium and New York, as well as hundreds of other international buyers in February."
