From The IDE With Love: Fun Day For School Kids
On the happy day, the star was, as usual, bourse guard Emmanuel Attar who, together with dozens of members of the diamond exchange, contributed money to bring about an unforgettable event.
The Israel Diamond Exchange, under the leadership of bourse President Shmuel Schnitzer, organized yesterday (Tuesday) a fun day for school kids from the Renanim boarding school in Zichron Ya'akov for children from families facing a range of problems.
About 300 children and 60 escorts gathered yesterday at the Tirat HaCarmel swimming pool and enjoyed many sumptuous delights. This included, among other things, more than 120 kilograms of high-quality meats, pita bread and salads, free drinks, slushies, candy and more.
In addition to the large quantities of food served, the children also enjoyed the inflatable castles in the swimming pool area, which bounced continuously.
During the year, the diamond exchange organizes a variety of activities for the school kids from Renanim, including taking them to Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball games. It also helps in purchasing toys, clothing and more.
The highlight of these activities is the annual end-of-year party for the school children that was organized and held yesterday by the diamond exchange and its members.
The Israel Diamond Exchange works for the community on an ongoing basis and also contributes to various non-profit organizations, municipalities, hospitals, and other organizations.
