Business As Usual: Japanese Buyer Comes to IDE At Difficult Time

As a mark of solidarity with the State of Israel, Asaka Shinjiro has been awarded a medal and a letter of thanks from IDE President Shmuel Schnitzer.

The medal and the letter were presented to Xinjiang by Schnitzer at a meeting held in the boardroom, attended by vice-president, Ya’akov Kattan, deputy president, Hezi Bloom, IDE General Manager Moti Besser and bourse member Gal Vered.

"Dear Mr Shinjiro," wrote President Schnitzer. "On behalf of the Israel Diamond Exchange and myself, I want to express my appreciation for your long-term business relationships with Israel and the Israel Diamond Exchange. We see in your visit at this time a sign of solidarity with us, and of faith and optimism for a shared future. In the name of board members and myself, I thank you, "he added.
