Israel Diamond Week Offering Free Hotel Stays For Some Buyers
The hotels are in the area of the Israel Diamond Exchange as well as elsewhere in Tel Aviv.
Qualified and confirmed buyers will again be offered up to four free hotel nights in designated venue hotels by the organizers of the International Diamond Week.
"We have secured blocks of rooms at several hotels close to the Ramat Gan diamond exchange complex," said Moti Besser, general manager of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE).
"They will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, and therefore, we urge interested buyers to register quickly and not to wait."
The upcoming edition of the show in September will also feature the "Find Your Diamond" computer program will be available to the visiting buyers.
The program is made available by the Israel Diamond Institute which has been using the program successfully in the Israel diamond pavilions at a range of leading international gem and jewelry trade shows.
Israel Diamond Exchange President Shmuel Schnitzer said that the integration of the "Find your Diamond" program added yet another valuable service to both the visiting buyers and the diamond sellers.
"As there will be many hundreds of Israeli, American and Belgian colleagues with unique goods on the IDE trading floor, buyers might find it difficult to pinpoint the goods they need by just walking around. Therefore, by accessing the computer terminals in the halls, buyers can feed their diamond needs into the program and will be directed to the companies where the goods are available. This is a great value adding service for buyers and sellers alike," Schnitzer stated.
"To ensure that the listed goods are indeed available in real time and on site, the listing will be uploaded just hours before the event starts. To access these unique listings, buyers will need to be on the floor," the IDE President added.
