Tzoffey's 1818 to Offer Range of Diamonds at Rough Week Event

The IDE has allocated four extra viewing rooms to Tzoffey's on the last day of the week-long event to meet the strong interest in the auction, Sofiov said.
Israeli-French company Tzoffey's 1818 is to tender a wide variety of rough goods during the March 9-13 International Rough Diamond Week at the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE).

The tender will include run-of mine diamonds, as well as goods in ranges of 3-6 gr., 4-8gr., 5-10 ct.+, single stones, and fancy color rough, and the goods to be tendered are directly sourced, the IDE said in a statement.

Tzoffey's President Avner Sofiov said, "We have secured a vast range of sizes, qualities and colors directly from the source. Some 140 rough buyers and dealers from around the world have already reserved their slots for viewing the goods."

IDE Deputy President Arnon Juwal, who heads the International Rough Diamond Week organizing committee, said that more than 300 people have already registered for the event.

Meanwhile, Fusion/I Hennig Tenders, which is handling the IDE tender project, reported that the flow of goods submitted for the tenders is continuing. Submission of rough goods will continue until February 20.
