Bank Tefahot-Mizrahi Expanding Credit to Diamond Trade
The agreement came following a meeting at the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) between the bank's Managing Director, Eldad Fresher, and leading members of the Israeli diamond sector.
Bank Tefahot-Mizrahi management led by Managing Director, Eldad Fresher, and senior management members including, Business Division head Ofir Mored, executive assistant to the Managing Director, Tomer Zelder, and Diamond Branch Manager Avi Tzobel, met yesterday at the Israel Diamond Exchange with senior Israeli diamond industry members.
The meeting was held in the management office at the IDE and was attended by IDE President Shmuel Schnitzer, Chairman of the IDI Moti Ganz, President of the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association (IsDMA) Bumi Traub, members of the Presidium of the IDE and of IsDMA, IDE Managing Director Moti Besser and IsDMAManaging Director Ofer Laufman.
At the meeting, participants discussed ways to increase credit to the diamond sector, while being presented with data showing the economic strength of the Israeli diamond trade and its financial stability.
Bank Tefahot-Mizrahi Managing Director Fresher spoke of the faith of the bank in the Israeli diamond industry, and said that it would act to increase credit to the diamond industry which he sees as a long-term partner.
