IDE Members Testify to Success of Israel Diamond Week

The success of the recent Israel Diamond Week at the Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) of New York was testified to by a range of Israeli traders as well as Israel Diamond Exchange President Shmuel Schnitzer.

Members of the IDE were interviewed and spoke of the large amount of trade carried out.

 

 

They also congratulated IDE management and others for organizing the event which, for the second year running, brought together members of the IDE and DDC, as well as diamond company representatives from across the world.

In addition to the 120 Israeli diamond firms that had booths at the event, more than 500 members of the DDC and other exchanges visited the show to search for goods.

Schnitzer said that the show would not affect other trade shows, such as Las Vegas and Hong Kong since it was a specific fair for members of the Israeli and US diamond trades. He added that among the advantages was the relatively low cost.
