Israel Diamond Week Opens at DDC New York

The first edition of the show featured 50 Israeli exhibitors, while the current one has jumped to 120, and there are plans to further expand it in the future.
The Israel Diamond Week kicks off at the Diamond Dealers Club of New York (DDC) today (Monday).

It is the second edition of the show which was held for the first time in November 2012 and is held jointly by the DDC and the Israel Diamond Exchange.

Between the two editions of the buyer's week at the DDC, the Israel Diamond Exchange held two highly successful US/International Diamond Week events at the Ramat Gan bourse this year.

The buyers' week features 120 Israeli diamond firms exhibiting their goods and hundreds of buyers from the United States and across the world.

The Israel Diamond Week aims to boost trade between members of the Israel Diamond Exchange and the DDC, to renew business between local suppliers and their clients, and to lower the threshold for diamond buying jewelry manufacturers and jewelry retailers who wish to obtain access to the DDC.

The Israel Diamond Week will close on November 14.
