New IDE Board Holds Festive First Meeting

Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) President Shmuel Schnitzer: "We are opening a new page here and I want to thank all the board members who have completed their terms and wish everyone we meet in the future joint public action."
The IDE on Thursday held in the boardroom its first meeting after the election. The meeting was attended by new president Shmuel Schnitzer, outgoing president Yair Sahar, and the new and outgoing board members.

During the meeting, held in a festive atmosphere, IDE President Schnitzer called for unity and brotherhood among the members of the exchange. "I'm going to cooperate with Yair, talk and consult with him, I'm not saying it perfunctorily but I really mean it," said Schnitzer to applause from the participants at the meeting. "We are opening a new page here and I want to thank all the board members who have completed their job and wish everyone we meet future joint public activity."

Yair Sahar thanked the outgoing board members and said: "The pages of history will tell of the achievements and all we've been through during the past two years. In retrospect, I believe we can judge our actions."

Schnitzer thanked Sahar for his contribution to the IDE and his extensive work for its benefit.
