NY DDC to Host More Than 100 Firms at Israel Diamond Week

New York Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) President Reuven Kaufman said the bourse will host in excess of 100 firms from the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) at the Israel Diamond Week to take place from November 11 to 14.

The Israel Diamond Week follows the event held at the DDC in December last year. Since then, US/International Diamond Weeks have been held in Israel in March and August of this year.

Kaufman said the Israel Diamond Week will provide members of the DDC and the IDE with "unique opportunities to do business and network. It will benefit members of both bourses as well as the entire industry.”

And IDE President Yair Sahar said, “When we meet again on the DDC trading floor we do so knowing that these events are good for business and that they also enhance relationships between DDC and IDE members. I wish to pay tribute to DDC President Kaufman for his support, and for bringing business back to the trading floor.”

Kaufman noted that in addition to welcoming more than 100 prominent Israeli companies, the buyers week will include related events, such as key speakers on the state of the industry as well as recognizing the achievements of notable industry leaders.
