Israel Diamond Exchange General Manager Moti Besser: “The value of the polished diamonds to be offered for sale is around $2 billion.” Check the dedicated web site for details of the companies taking part and where their booths will be situated.
Around 350 Israeli diamond companies have registered to take part in the August 26-29 US & International Diamond Week, according to information published by the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE). This is an all-time record attendance by Israeli firms for an event in Israel or abroad.
IDE General Manager Moti Besser said the Israeli firms would be displaying polished diamonds worth around $2 billion. “We are looking forward to seeing a huge amount of activity in the trading halls during the Buyers’ Week,” he said.
Last Thursday (July 25), the IDE published the results of the draw that set the places of the booths in the trading halls of the firms taking part, and an updated map showing the booth numbers. Due to the huge interest in the show, it will be spread over two trading halls.
