Diamond Exchange Donates Money for Training Programs for Sheba Hospital

Donation given in framework of annual assistance given by the bourse to the hospital to finance scholarships for training programs for the Cardiology department and acquisition of medical equipment.
The Israel Diamond Exchange yesterday (Sunday) made a donation to Sheba hospital in Tel HaShomer for the financing of scholarships for training programs for the Cardiology department and for the purchase of medical equipment.

The donation was provided as part of the annual assistance given by the bourse to the hospital which is part of the great deal of help provided by the bourse in a range of fields.

The head of the heart department at Sheba, Professor Michael Alder, and the manager of stent services, Dr Victor Guetta, paid a visit to the diamond exchange on Sunday, and met exchange president Yair Sahar who presented them with the bourse’s donation.

The meeting was also attended by the deputy to the president, Moti Fluk, who is also chairman of the exchange’s Finance Committee; vice-president Ilan Samuel; bourse treasurer Shlomo Samsovitch; Chairman of the Control Committee Shaul Yitzhak; bourse member Zvika Goli Brode, and the diamond exchange’s General Manager Moti Besser.

Professor Alder and Dr Guetta thanked Yair Sahar and members of the management for the exchange’s widespread help for the wider community, and their support for important medical assistance such as that for the Cardiology department at Sheba Hospital.
