Israeli Diamond Firms Report Strong Interest at JCK Show

Israeli diamond companies exhibiting at the JCK Show say they are satisfied with the strong foot traffic at the fair, says Nissim Palomo, V-P Marketing at the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI).
Israeli diamantaires at JCK 2013 on the final day of the event on Monday (June 3) are reporting overwhelming success at the event. Diamond traders are in a good frame of mind and point out that there is a great deal of activity both at the IDI pavilion where 31 of the 55 Israeli firms are taking part – as well as elsewhere.

The JCK Show is particularly important for the Israeli diamond trade since most of their polished diamond exports are for the US market and because the US imports more polished goods from Israel than from any other country.
Last year, 40 percent of Israeli polished diamonds, with a value of $2.3 billion, were exported to the United States.
