Closing Date for Registration for Israeli Firms to Buyers Week Brought Forward

Due to the large interest in taking part from Israeli firms in the US & International Diamond Week in August, the closing date for participation has been brought forward to June 21.
More than 260 Israeli diamond firms have already registered for the August 26-29 US & International Diamond Week. Due to the overwhelming interest, the Buyers Week Steering Committee, under the leadership of Moti Besser and with the participation of Ami Parter, Yitzhak Cohen and others, has decided to bring forward the closing date to Friday, June 21.

The registration points will not be open on that day since it is a Friday, but interested companies can register via the Israel Diamond Exchange web site.

A look at the companies who have already registered shows a wide range of large, medium-size and small companies who have requested a booth at the event. These include, among many others, EZ, YDI, MID, Leo Schachter, ABT, A. Dalumi, Yerushalmi Brothers, Lili Diamonds, Korn Diamonds, Avi Dayagi, Eli Melamed, Moti Kashi, Steinfeld, Aliyah, Regent, Mose Barzilai, Lustig Brothers, Yoram Dvash, A. Schwartz, Y. Nadal, Eliezer Broide, Ya’akov Katan, Yosef Ovadia, EFD, EMA, Ofer Mizrahi.

The Buyers Week gives Israeli diamond firms a unique commercial platform to show their goods in the best possible light and in the most cost-effective way without any financial outlay. The format ensures that everyone is playing on a level playing field with basic tables with a light, weighing scales and computer. Only the firm’s stock talks.
Based on the experience of the first Buyers Week in March, companies should register as soon as possible.

Registration is also continuing for overseas firms for the Buyers Week. Invitations are being sent in a variety of ways: at international trade shows, direct mail, and the registration of many buyers across the world via diamond exchanges. There is lively interest that is growing day by day. The deadline for registration by foreign firms is unchanged and remains on August 4.
