Basketball Players on Their Way to Bulgaria

The exchange's basketball team prepares to leave for the place of employment world championships that take place at the start of June in Verna in Bulgaria.
The Israel Diamond Exchange's basketball team, under the guidance of trainer Danny Shneider, leaves on June 2 for the place of employment world championships that takes place in early June in Verna in Bulgaria and ends on June 9.

The IDE's basketball team takes part in various competitive events, including the place of employment world championships, regional leagues and the Sportiada. The team regularly plays in Europe and around the world in place of employment games and other special competitions for teams of a certain level and higher.

The team is also occasionally invited to special games such as the matches it played in two years ago against special teams in Philadelphia, and a match against handicapped players from the defense forces that raised money for the Alin charity which took place this year in the presence of IDE President Yair Sahar.

Ahead of the team's departure for Bulgaria, Sahar said: "The team's taking part in the Alin game showed that not does the exchange's team have the impressive professional skills needed but a large heart. I wish the team under Danny Shneider great success in the championships but especially that the games take place with great sporting spirit with the right way of representing the Israel Diamond Exchange and Israel as a whole. Good luck!
