The diamond exchange shows support for the army's Magellan unit
A group of soldiers from the army's Magellan unit paid a visit to the diamond exchange and took part in a group hug with the management of the exchange which presented them with a television to help provide a more pleasant environment during their rest hours.
The Magellan unit is a select infantry unit and one of the leading such groups in the Israeli army.It was established in 1986 as the spearhead of the land forces. It specializes in carrying out secreat operations in all fronts.
The unit is a family of fighters that believes in hard work, high morality, loyalty, porofessionalism and especially in the high quality of people who are accepted into the unit.

In the Second Lebanon War, the unit received special praise for its actions. The fighters are characterized by their morality, tenacity, high levels of physical ability and ability to navigate. The tough course they undergo includes undergoing complex operations.
The unit's song was written by Naftali Bennet, who was the unit's commander in the past and today is Minister of Economy and Commerce.
