Safdico's Laurence Graff to participate in U.S. / International Diamond Week
Israel Diamond Exchange President Yair Sahar announced today that Laurence Graff, the world's leading buyer of large, special diamonds who also specializes in the highest end of jewelry retailing, accepted IDE's invitation to participate in the upcoming US/International Diamond Week.
"We are thrilled that Mr. Graff will be coming to Israel to join us for the inaugural International Diamond Week. I am grateful to his partners in the Safdico company, Johnny Kneller and Brian Gutkin for conveying our invitation. Mr. Graff will arrive in Israel especially to join us in this exciting inaugural event," Sahar stated.
The London–based jeweler is famous for his exclusive diamond expertise and business. It is believed that more important gem quality diamonds have passed through the hands of who is often called “the King of Diamonds” than any other diamantaire. For example, in 1984 Graff owned both the largest blue diamond in the world – the 39.31 carat Imperial Blue Diamond – and the largest pink diamond – the Express Rose, weighing 72.79 carats. Today, Laurence Graff remains one of the major forces to be reckoned with in the world of important diamonds.
Buyers wishing to participate in the upcoming US / International Diamond Week have only a few days left to register. Upon arrival in Israel, they will be offered four free hotel nights at the Leonardo Hotel, located opposite the Ramat Gan diamond exchange complex. The complimentary hotel accommodation is being provided courtesy of the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI).
