Rolls Royce replica diamond-set shoes on sale for $5,300

A Chinese designer has created a pair of high-heeled shoes modeled on a luxury Rolls Royce car and set with diamonds.

The sling back shoes, which are covered all over with diamonds, were made by designer Chris Lu and they are on sale at a shop in Guangzhou in China for $5,300.

Lu created the shoes in great detail, with the toe caps made to look like the grille of the famous car.

The shoes, named the Charm of Rolls-Royce, came second in last year's International Shoe Design competition, and they may be submitted for a Guinness world record in the category of high-heeled shoes set with the most diamonds.

Visitors to the shopping mall in Guangzhou are being treated to a close-up look at the shoes with a 1.8-meter high replica of the shoes set with 318,000 crystals.
