Ben Zion Shasho has been engaged in diamond trading since 1970 and for 12 years worked for Leo Schachter Diamonds in the United States.
In 1982 he returned to Israel and has been engaged in diamond brokerage ever since.
In recent years he has been active in the organization of brokers. In December 2003, he was elected chairman of the brokers’ organization, which aims to protect the status of brokers in the diamond industry.
