News of the great success of the US/International Diamond Week in March reached the United States, said JCK vice-president for shows, Yancy Weinrich, in a meeting with the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) president and senior figures at the exchange.
The ripples of interest created by the US/International Diamond Week in March reached the United States, said Weinrich of JCK which organizes one of the diamond and jewelry industries' most important trade events – JCK Show – Las Vegas. She made the comments to leading members of the Israeli diamond exchange at a meeting on April 8 at the bourse.
Weinrich and IDE President Yair Sahar held a meeting in which they discussed the possibility of cooperation between the sides relating to the international diamond week that is expected to take place at the Israeli diamond bourse in six months' time. They agreed to continue to discuss the issue in the coming months.

Besser also explained to Weinrich about the diamond exchange's contribution to the community and the mutual respect in which members hold each other.
Following his comments, Weinrich told her hosts that JCK has signed a deal with the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas until 2017 for the JCK Show – Las Vegas event to be held there annually and denied the rumors in the industry that the show will be moving to a different venue.
