The system automatically maps out and diagnoses internal defects in rough diamonds. There is a 15% discount for using the service via Sarine Technologies for diamond firms who submit their stones for polishing to the modern manufacturing center.
Galatea, the state-of-the-art manufacturing system developed by Sarine Technologies, has begun operating at the Israeli diamond sector's modern manufacturing center.
The system maps out and diagnoses internal defects automatically in rough diamonds of all sizes and no matter where the defect is located within the stone. The system is now at the disposal of Israeli manufacturers.
The opening hours for taking in diamonds for identification of defects by Sarine are between 8.30-10.00am every day. Sarine will make every effort to have the diamonds returned to diamantaires by 5.00pm on the same day.
The work on the diamond will be carried out at the modern manufacturing center's premises.
All the polishing machines at the center are working at full capacity, and due to the large demand there is even a waiting list.
Diamantaires are invited to use the new Sarine's facility at a 15% discount for those firms who submit the stones for polishing.
Sarine will also present a briefing to diamantaires on identifying defects in stones with all diamond company representatives invited.
